As you come down the hill approaching Amlych you will come to a roundabout by Red Shell Garage. Take the right turn sign posted to Porth Amlych Port. Continue three quarters of a mile keeping right, until you come to the Liverpool Arms. Turn left onto Upper Quay Street. Royal Oak cottage is seventy yards along Upper Quay street, on the right hand side.
