Perfect Pre Honeymoon Break
We found this beautiful cottage last minute as our honeymoon doesn’t begin for a while and we wanted a chance to escape from the buzz of the wedding for a quiet few days. But what an escape. We arrived at dark to find this delightful cottage tucked away, the fire was roaring, candles lit and perfect little touches like real hyacinths, fresh bread, butter, tea and proper coffee. The pictures on the Internet do not do it justice. The owners have taken time to dress the house tastefully with all the amenities you could possible need, including information about the history and things to do in the surrounding area, of which there is a lot. We can not recommend this place enough and can’t wait to come back when we have more time to explore
“Lovely cottage in a good location “
“Myself and 4 friends stayed here befinning of July for a weekend, and it was perfect for what we needed.
We had booked to do the zipwire….which took us 15 minutes to walk to from the cottage, and also did some hiking. The cottage is a 10 minute drive away from the Glyders so again great for us.
Its on the edge of Bethesda, so in a quiet location, but a 10 minute walk away from the village which has a Tescos, pubs and take aways if needed.
Cottage was immaculate inside and had everything we needed. There was plenty of room, i was warm and the beds really comfortable. The floors are all wooden and its just quaint and lovely. I would definitely stay here again, and in fact already talking about going back but with the kids this time. What a find this was!”
“Ideal cottage for Zip Wire experience “
“Well equipped cottage in a good location. Wifi is excellent. Cooker labels have worn away making selection of grill a little hit and miss!”
“Excellent location, very clean and spacious cottage “
“A perfect cottage with all the amenities needed for a self catering break. The location is a 10 minute walk away from the zip wire experience and 10 minutes walk to the centre of the town Bethesda. We found the cottage to be very clean and spacious with a peaceful feel to it. The cottage has been maintained and furnished to a high standard, keeping in with the cottage theme. Very comfortable beds too! WIFI was available free of charge and was very straightforward to access. I would highly recommend both families and or couples looking for somewhere to stay to choose this cottage.”
“Lovely cottage, lots of character, very clean, very reasonably priced, very comfortable. I appreciated the extra touch of fresh flowers in the rooms, milk and biscuits in the fridge, tea and coffee already there. We went for our son’s graduation – wished we had found this cottage three years ago!”
“An ideal getaway.”
“Great location with lovely walks around yet not far to drive to beaches etc.
