Lower Flat The Moorings, Cemaes Bay, Anglesey holiday apartment, the setting of this property is really quite special with breathtaking views of the village, the harbour and out to sea from the kitchen, lounge and bedroom, whatever time of the year.
Cemaes is a small fishing village with narrow streets, a few shops and pubs and a hotel with bars and a bistro. It is located on the north coast of the island and is a good starting point for access to the Anglesey Coastal Path. There is a nature reserve at Cemlyn to the west and Church Bay further along the coast attracts many visitors.
At the eastern end of the village is a broad, flat, sandy beach which offers a great venue for sunbathing, swimming and water sports.
This apartment can sleep up to nine, book with the Top Flat to accommodate a group of up to fourteen.
The kitchen is spacious. It is well equipped with a cooker, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, kettle, toaster, microwave,washing machine and tumble dryer.
Wrap Around Sun Room
Eight chairs are set at a long wooden table in the spacious dining area where panoramic windows provide stunning views of the bay. There is also a comfortable seating area, a cane two seater sofa and two single chairs, great for enjoying a morning coffee as you watch the tide come in! With separate access into the wrap around sun room is a children’s play area with toys and games.
The light and airy well-proportioned lounge has a beautiful, ornate wooden fire surround with an open fire, perfect to provide a welcoming glow and warmth in the evenings. The white beamed ceiling and glass panelled doors give a feeling of lightness and airiness enhanced by the views out to sea. There is a 3-seater sofa and two armchairs, a 43 inch TV with Freeview and DVD player and a Sony i-pod dock. Books and DVDs are to be found on the shelves of the dresser.
The white beamed ceiling and polished wood floor bring plenty of character to this double bedroom which also contains bedside cabinets, a chest of drawers and rocking chair. There are stunning sea view from the bed.
This bedroom contains two sets of bunk beds. There is also a wardrobe and a cupboard. There is a cot under the bunk bed and the bedroom window looks out to sea.

An beach themed white-tiled bathroom contains a full-size bath, a toilet, a sink and a heated towel rail.
Next door to the bathroom is a spacious shower room with a walk-in shower, toilet, a sink and a heated towel rail.
43 inch TV, Freesat, DVD player with selection of DVD’s, iPod dock and a selection of books in lounge.
The property has the benefit of a large garden (shared with the upstairs flat), overlooking the bay, as well as off road parking for one vehicle. There is additional off road parking alongside the beach and roadside parking on the beach road. A private decking area with table and chairs for the lower flat can be accessed through the children’s play area in the conservatory. An additional decking area at the bottom of the garden is the perfect spot to read the morning newspaper overlooking the bay. The decking area has a table and 4 chairs.

The children were very well catered for with toys and dvd’s to use. I had taken cleaning things but they were all provided. We all had an excellent time and look forward to using your company again.

Great location and a warm family place
Just come back from April bank holiday weekend at the Lower Flat The Moorings and we all really loved it. Waking up to the sea in your back garden is just magical, its a lovely place and there’s always logs for fire and bits in kitchen cupboards which you don’t get in normally get with a letting place also games and books for the kids . Really really lovely holiday And will definitely go back again .
A Fantastic House and Location
Stayed at the Lower Flat, The moorings in July 2015 and have already booked our next break. A fantastic house with all the comforts and facilities that you would expect- microwave, toaster, ironing board, washer, dryer etc but what makes this house really special is it’s location and the amazing views of the bay. The house has beautiful views, especially from the dining room. The back garden is literally on the beach. Straight over the garden steps and you’re on the beach. Even in the summer holidays the beach was empty and felt like part of the back garden. If you get bored of the beach there are plenty of places to go for day trips and in walking distance are shops, a pub and a great park with a very fast zip wire. Go out the back garden and you will find yourself on a beautiful coastal path which goes on for miles. The kids absolutely loved this house and the surroundings as did the adults and it made for the perfect holiday.
Exceeded all expectations! The outside area allowed the kids to play safely and the adults the opportunity to relax, taken the views and appreciate the fantastic weather from the well placed areas of raised decking. Access to the beach could not be easier and the locale services just up the road. We all had a great stay.

A wonderful house for a multi generational family
“Words can’t describe how great this house was for our holiday. We were a party of 3 generations from 21 to 90 !! While you needed a car to entertain the younger ones, the location was ideal for the more mature members. First of all the view from the communal rooms was outstanding over the bay. The flat is large enough to find a nook to get peace to read or just chill when the rest of the family watch tv etc. The kitchen is very well equipped. Dishwasher and washing machine to make life easier. The garden hosts two large lawns and a decking area. the only thing I would say it is a pity that on the deck that the supports for hand rail block the beautiful view.
Such a beautiful place to wake up early in the morning and see the sun rise across the sea.
Plenty of opportunity for walking swimming, fishing and cycling in the area. The beach is just the other side of the wall, so ideal for keeping watch of older kids from the comfort of your own house.
The flat was spotlessly clean, thanks to the very helpful caretaker.
One tip I would give, is to park in the beach front area, it is a bit tight for every day parking in the allotted flat parking, but for unloading and loading the car for your stay do use the flat parking.
Lastly I found the staff in Coastal Holidays first class. Thank you all for great break.”
Super family holiday house
This flat was perfect for us, it’s in a perfect spot too with super views. The toy room was brill and my 2 year old loved the toy cars! My only moan would be lack of kitchen equipment, no children’s cups and only 4/5 adult glasses (we bought and left 8 plastic cups for your cupboards) only a few teaspoons too and the bowls aren’t great for children. There is only 1 bin (none in the loos or bedrooms) but these are just small moans, we will defo be staying again!

Lovely position and good facilities. Not plush but comfortable. Garden furniture broken but house and position made up for that. Will return
